New York, NY – January 4, 2012 -- United Stations Radio Networks, Inc. (“USRN”), an independent leader in the creation and marketing of network radio programming, today announced a partnership with legendary broadcaster TOM KENT whereby USRN will take over the distribution and ad sales for the various successful program offerings from the Tom Kent Radio Network (“TKRN”). The multi-year partnership agreement calls for United Stations to serve as TKRN’s advertising sales arm throughout the domestic U.S. as well as provide all satellite channels, commercial traffic, affiliate compliance and related technologies. This announcement comes jointly from USRN’s Chairman/CEO Nick Verbitsky and TKRN’s founder and primary on-air talent, Tom Kent, and the partnership becomes effective on February 1, 2012. - Tom Kent (Weeknights 7p-Mid) The last two offerings on the list above constitute unique platforms for content delivery with one of them, C.L.A.S.S., being completely customizable. With C.L.A.S.S., TKRN can integrate Tom Kent’s national content into local stations music and playlists delivering his show to not only Classic Hits but to AC, CHR, and HOT AC stations as well. The other, "24/7 FUN" started feeding a round-the clock Classic Hits format last April with all delivery handled via satellite. The full-time 24/7 format features Bill Shannon mornings, Steve Kent and Jackie Newton middays and Tom Kent hosting late afternoons and nights. Tom Kent grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and has been on the air since the age of 15. It was always his dream to be on the radio, and prior to launching his national programs, Tom worked all over the country at great stations like WLS/Chicago, WAVA/Washington, WMJX/Miami, WGCL/Cleveland, B-94/Pittsburgh, KLIF/Dallas and WIBG/Philadelphia, and all of that experience has made Tom Kent one of the top entertainers in the medium. His high energy style and quick wit have placed him among the elite of today's music radio personalities.
