UNITED STATIONS ELEVATED DAN BRASSEM TO VICE PRESIDENT


Affiliate Relations Veteran Named VP/Managing Director Affiliate Relations

New York, NY – September 10, 2009 -- United Stations Radio Networks, Inc., (USRN) an independent leader in original network radio programming, today announced the appointment of Dan Brassem to the newly created role of Vice President/Managing Director Affiliate Relations.    In his new role, Brassem will lead a team of nearly a dozen USRN staffers nationwide dedicated to marketing the network’s numerous programming services to radio stations across the United States.    The personnel announcement is effective immediately and it comes from the company’s EVP, Charlie Colombo, to whom Brassem reports.


Dan Brassem has been with USRN and based at the company’s New York headquarters since 1999.   He began with regional marketing duties and responsibilities for acquiring and maintaining affiliations across the company’s numerous Comedy properties.   He was elevated to Affiliate Relations Manager/Comedy in 2002.   Following USRN’s acquisition of the Launch Radio Networks from Yahoo!, Inc., Brassem was named Manager of Affiliate Relations for Launch (now Pulse Content) in 2004 and that was followed by his appointment in 2006 as Manager of Affiliate Relations for the company’s entire roster of wide-ranging Entertainment, Talk, Information, Comedy and Prep services.    Dan is a graduate of Rutgers University and he is also very recently married.   He and his new bride make their home in Manhattan.


In making the announcement, Charlie Colombo commented that, “Dan is one of the primary reasons that we work with a tremendous number of quality radio stations and that our Affiliate rosters have grown as much as they have.  This promotion recognizes Dan for those outstanding accomplishments.”
